CALL FOR POETS & PROSE WRITERS – CELEBRATE EARTH WEEK 2019, EGG HARBOR
“Earth Day Every Day”
The Celebrate Earth Week committee is looking for poets and prose writers to take part in this year’s celebration on Sunday, April 28.
Sunday: “5 x P” – An Artistic Reflection on the Earth
This year the locations and programs designed to encourage all to join in Celebrate Earth Week, will focus on ideas and resources to help us all make Earth Day Every Day. All events will take place over the weekend of April 26th, 27th and 28th at the beautiful Kress Center in Egg Harbor.
Art will unfold in the late afternoon on Sunday April 28th as we invite all to come for the sunset and stay for a medley filled with green messages of appreciation and inspiration from the artistic worlds. Sunday evening’s “5 x P “ will signal the close of a busy, lively weekend of earth centered events. Therefore, the idea is for it to provide a setting that inspires peaceful contemplation of our own roles and opportunities as earth stewards. Those attending will hopefully enjoy, absorb, and be inspired by beautiful works of Prose, Poetry, Photography, Piano and Praise in an artistic, musical and meditative reflection on the Earth, our common home.
If you are interested, please contact Pat at pat-glen@hotmail.com for more information.
