performed. This workshop will help educators introduce students to the topic of poetry. Participants will learn ways to help students learn brainstorming techniques, imagery and layering to write powerful and effective poems. Clear and easy poetic structures and formats empower students to expand their imaginations and cross creative boundaries. Award-winning poet Glenis Redmond will share techniques on how to help students express themselves through their words and bring their poetry to life on the page as well as off the page.
