Susan Manzke sold two short pieces to Super Teacher Worksheets. "Nothing earth shaking," Susan says, "but nice just the same." Hey, a sale's a sale, Susan. Kudos to you! Ann Angel will be part of the Northwoods children's Festival Oct. 17-19 in Minong, Wisconsin. On Nov. 3, Ann will be in Plymouth, Minnesota -- along with fellow Wisconsin writers Ann Bausum and Pat Schmatz -- to talk to teachers and librarians about their books and to teach writing to teens. Ann also reports that on Oct. 12, she will be receiving the alumnae Madonna Medal for Professional Excellence at Mount Mary College where she teachers. Congratulations, Ann!
