Bramble Spring 2019 Submission Period: February 1 – March 15, 2019
Guest Editor: Ed Werstein
As William Carlos Williams famously wrote: “It is difficult to get the news from poems yet men die miserably every day for lack of what is found there.” Bramble is open to all poems & forms, however, our Guest Editor is especially interested in poems that speak to and about the news. Responses to news stories and headlines about anything from the front page to the sports page and all points in between; from a Hollywood romance gone bad to the melting ice caps. Have at it. Poems will be judged on their artistic merit, not their subject matter.
