Jerrianne Hayslett’s interview about Anatomy of a Trial: Public Loss, Lessons Learned from The People vs. O.J. Simpson and the 1995 Simpson trial with Prof. Teresa Keller, Chair of Emory & Henry College Dept. of Mass Communications and General Manager of public radio station WEHC-FM 90.7 in southwest Virginia will air on Keller’s program “This Conversation” on WEHC-FM at 6 p.m. tomorrow, June 26, and again on Sunday, June 30, at 2 p.m. To listen to it streamed live, go to http://www.wehc.edu and click on “Listen Live”. The program will also be archived for later listening.
Keller covered a lot of territory for this half-hour program, including what it was like to deal with the more than 1,300 credentialed news media during the run-up to and throughout the trial, some “gossipy” anecdotes recounted in the book, where the circus aspects portrayed by the news media on air and in print actually occurred, cameras in the courtroom and the biggest mistakes trial judge, Lance Ito, made.
