Wisconsin Writers Association Vice President Dave Rank has provided the following information about that group’s Novel-In-Progress Bootcamp:
Spend 6 days focused on your book…
Are you ready to focus exclusively on your manuscript for 6 full days and nights?
The Novel-In-Progress Bookcamp, sponsored by the Wisconsin Writers Association, is an all-inclusive workshop and retreat for writers working on any stage of a book from outline to final edits. All fiction genres and creative nonfiction works are welcome. Hosted by published authors, editors and writing instructors, with a guest visit by literary agents, the Bookcamp is designed to help you advance your book to publication.
Open to both WWA members and nonmembers, the Bookcamp is scheduled for May 26-June 1, 2013 at the Cedar Valley Center and Spa, a 100-acre rural retreat and small conference center 35 miles northwest of Milwaukee.
An early registration discount for both WWA members and nonmembers continues until January 31, 2013. Full prices for both WWA members and nonmember writers go into effect the following day. Both single and double room options available, although we can only guarantee a single room to the first 13 registrants.
Leading our instructional staff is Philip Martin, book editor and writing instructor, and Reed Farrel Coleman, award-winning mystery writer and writing instructor from New York. Also scheduled to assist our registrants are literary agents from Red Sofa Literary, St. Paul, Minn., best-selling novelist Karen McQuestion, and several other professional writers.
